In a world of back and forth. Ups and downs and whirlwinds of disappointment and triumph. It can be so easy to get lost in the struggle of staying afloat in this ocean we call life. For me music can act as a life raft in the foggy abyss of a dark storm. I feel like i am not alone in the feeling that these last 2 years  have tossed us into this "Land of Confusion" so to speak forcing us to claw at anything to keep us grounded and afloat. In the midst of it i feel so lucky to have my copilot in this band and writing partner and our music that tethers me to a life i feel is worth living. In an age that at times feels so lifeless and unthriving i can thrive through my craft and feel like i am working towards something everyday. We can all loose sight of our goals, our passions and our lives as they sometimes sink into the mundane of the daily grind. We can forget to withdraw from the day to day and pour passion and art and enjoyment back into our souls. 

Even in music you can get into this pattern of slumps and dry spells and discouragement. I am thankful during those times we are able to redirect re-asses and spark new life new material and new experiences into what we do while staying true to the vision we have laid out for this band. This project. This life! After all Widowmakers it is us who lights our path the world may twist and turn how we get to our end goal but with perseverance  determination grace and the wisdom to occasionally re direct when needed we can attain all that we seek and meet every goal we lay out for ourselves. 

Keep treading water it only makes you stronger and if the current overtakes you open your eyes to the beauty thats underneath the waves!
